Mr. Wright enlisted in the Army in 1967 and went through basic training and advanced jungle fighting at Ft. Benning. He ended up in Cameron Bay on May 19, Ho Chi Min's birthday, in 1968. His job was 63H20 which was a heavy equipment maintenance assignment. Here he provided support to the ground troops of the 409th of transportation. Upon returning to the states, Mr. Wright finished his service at Ft. Meade, MD. "Well you turn from a wise ass little kid at eighteen from when you first join the army.
